PEELS

Peel away imperfections with chemical peels! Chemical peels can improve the skin’s appearance by removing damaged skin cells, and revealing a smoother, healthier, and brighter skin complexion. Chemical peels help combat the following:

  • Hyperpigmentation

  • Melasma

  • Precancerous conditions (Actinic Keratosis)

  • Sun Damage

  • Uneven skin tone or redness

  • Wrinkles and fine lines

Here at Glendale Laser and Dermatology Associates we offer 3 different peels:

Glycolic Acid Peel: A highly effective superficial peeling agent and one of the most effective ingredients to help reduce facial oil, acne, hyperpigmentation and blemishes.

Jessner Peel: A popular medium depth chemical peel that contains a combination of lactic acid, salicylic acid and resorcinol, that helps treat hyperpigmentation, sun damage, and rough texture. Revealing a vibrant glowing skin.

TCA Peel: Exfoliates and renews the skin on a superficial and deep level by removing its damaged skin layers for cosmetic purposes. It is a safe and effective option to treat superficial facial blemishes, surface wrinkles and uneven skin tone. Can also be used to treat precancerous Actinic Keratosis/ AKs.

PRP
(PLATELET RICH PLASMA PROCEDURE)

  • Improving skin tone and thickness

  • Reducing fine lines and wrinkles

  • Hyperpigmentation

  • Acne and blemishes reduction

We recommend a series of treatments for best outcome results,

spaced about a month apart.

Not only is it a great procedure for anyone who wants an even tone and fresher appearance to their skin, but also, it’s been proven to help with hair restoration!  A natural way to boost your hair follicle growth!  By injecting your own plasma into your scalp, we are able to stimulate new and thicker hair growth in areas where hair is thinning.

What to Expect?

  • A small amount of blood is drawn, similar to that of a basic lab test.

  • Your blood is placed into a centrifuge and spun at a very rapid rate to separate the platelets from other components of the blood, which isolates the platelet rich plasma (PRP).

  • The PRP is then ready to be injected into the desired areas.

PRP is safe! It has been used clinically for over a decade in the dental, orthopedic and reconstructive surgery fields to aid in healing. Since it’s derived from your own blood, drawn at the time of treatment, there is no risk of allergic or inflammatory immune response!

Rejuvenate and repair your skin tone and texture with Microneedling! This minimally invasive treatment also known as Collagen Induction Therapy uses a pen with tiny needles that puncture the top layer of the skin, creating “micro injuries” that encourages the skin to stimulate collagen and elastin production. Once the collagen production begins, it fills in the fine lines and plumps the skin to create a more youthful appearance. This treatment helps improve the following:

  • Fine lines & wrinkles

  • Hyperpigmentation

  • Uneven skin tone

  • Large pores

  • Acne scars, surgical scars, scars

  • Stretch marks

We recommend a series of treatments for best outcome results, spaced about a month apart.

Microneedling can be combined with topical platelet-rich plasma (PRP) for a more portent treatment, also known as the “vampire facial”. PRP is packed with growth factors that encourage cells to regenerate, getting a bigger boost of collagen and elastin for a more pronounced positive result.
